Concert: Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble
Thursday, October 23, at 7:00 pm
The Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble featuring Harrisburg mandolinists Tom Cook and Wade Yankey, will perform eclectic acoustic tunes on mandolin family instruments. They will explore the tonal range from the mandolin to the mando bass, and to explore new and eclectic material from Bach to bluegrass, jazz and roots music. Sponsored by Susquehanna Bank.

SPEECHCRAFT - A Series of Public Speaking Workshops
Tuesdays, October 14, 21, 28, November 4, 18, 25 from 6 - 8 p.m.
The Conestoga Toastmasters Club is conducting its popular six-session workshop called SPEECHCRAFT that will help participants overcome nervousness and learn basic public speaking skills.  These workshops, open to the general public, which usually cost over $100 are offered FREE as a partnership between Toastmasters and the Library.  A $25 registration deposit will be returned upon workshop completion.
