The Duke Street Business Center at the Lancaster Public Library was created in partnership with the Library System of Lancaster County.  It is your one-stop source for authoritative and up-to-date business information.  You'll find business reference librarians who specialize in providing personalized assistance, locating information by utiliziing licensed business databases, business reference books and periodicals.

The Library System of Lancaster County has developed Lancaster MarketEdge a new service.  Lancaster MarketEdge provides companies with one-on-one consulting, specialized training, and access to leading research databases – the kinds of tools that global companies use to analyze markets, research products, find business partners, and separate themselves from the competition.  They are available to local businesses, right here in Lancaster County.  The Competitive Intelligence Certification Program is a new offering.  Five three-hour seminars on various aspects of competitive intelligence will be presented.  Upon completion of the program, participants will be given a certificate stating that they are qualified to be their company’s “knowledge navigator,” and the go-to person for information.

You may also visit your local public library to access the business databases and check out books.
